Paid internship for youth and IDPs at the Voznesenska Community Foundation: competition for participation

The charitable organization “Voznesenska Community Foundation” announces a competition for participation in a paid internship program within the project “Professional Start in Recovery: Internship Program to Strengthen Communication and Financial Resilience”. The initiative is implemented within the framework of the “Impulse” project, which is implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation in cooperation with the Eastern Europe Foundation with financial support from Norway (Norad) and Sweden (Sida).
The Voznesenska Community Foundation works to develop and restore our community, strengthen civil society capacity, and support youth. Today, we are seeking to strengthen our communication and financial resilience, so we invite active students, graduates, and internally displaced persons (IDPs) to join our team for a paid internship.
Together with us, you will have the opportunity to gain real practical experience in the third sector, work in a modern energy-independent office, study under the guidance of experienced mentors, and implement your own ideas for the development of the Voznesensk community.
INTERNSHIPS FOR WHICH WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES:
Financial management (work with primary documentation, development of licensed BAS software, grant reporting).
Information management (SMM, copywriting, creating photo/video content, working with the organization's brand book).
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) (toolbox development, data collection, beneficiary surveys and analytics).
HOW IS THE INTERNSHIP APPLIED?
The program is designed for 3 months and consists of three consecutive stages:
Stage 1. Adaptation and Learning (Month 1: July)
Immersion in the context of the organization's work: studying the internal policies of the BO, mission and values. Conducting security briefings and first workshops (working with BAS software for financiers, with graphic editors for info managers, with indicator matrices for M&E). Interns perform the first practical test tasks under the guidance of mentors.
Stage 2. Practical operational work (Month 2: August)
Interns are integrated into the Foundation's current activities, receive assigned operational tasks and regular assignments (from record-keeping and creating content plans to field data collection and participation in the organization's events).
Stage 3. Own product and completion (Month 3: September)
At the final stage, interns independently or in a microgroup create and present their own product/case (financial report-case, communication PR campaign, or analytical report based on the results of the project evaluation).
KEY INFORMATION:
Start of internship: August 1, 2026.
Duration: 3 months (August - October 2026).
Payment: Paid internship (scholarship) — 12,000 UAH/month under the CPC contract.
Work schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week) with flexible hours.
Location: Voznesensk. The internship involves working at the energy-independent office of the Voznesensk Community Foundation (with a safe shelter), as well as the possibility of partially remote work upon agreement with the mentor.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES/CO:
– Be a senior student of higher education institutions or colleges or a graduate of programs at the Adult Education Center (having IDP status in the Voznesensk community will be an advantage);
– Live in the Voznesensk territorial community;
– Ability to work in a team, responsibility and attention to detail;
– Share the values of civil society, democracy, patriotism, and openness;
– Have basic profile knowledge in accordance with the chosen direction:
· For financial management: Basic mathematical literacy: understanding the logic of numbers, arithmetic proportions, attention to detail when reconciling numerical data; Digital skills (MS Excel / Google Sheets): ability to work with spreadsheets, enter and format data, use basic mathematical formulas (summation, multiplication, calculating interest); An advantage would be: completion of the "Financial Literacy" course at the Adult Education Center and a basic understanding of what primary financial documentation is (checks, acts, invoices).
· For communications (information management): Language literacy: high level of proficiency in Ukrainian, ability to formulate thoughts clearly, logically and without errors in text format; Working with social networks (SMM): basic understanding of the principles of Facebook and Instagram platforms, skills in publishing content, designing posts and working with basic mobile applications for photo or video processing; An advantage would be: completion of the courses "Do it yourself SMM" or "Mobile Photography" at the Adult Education Center.
· For monitoring and evaluation (M&E): Analytical thinking: ability to structure information, notice cause-and-effect relationships, work with large amounts of text and digital data without losing focus; Working with information: basic skills in creating and administering data collection tools (e.g. Google Forms), ability to correctly enter beneficiaries' responses into summary tables and highlight the main points from the feedback received.
MAIN DUTIES OF INTERNS (BY DIRECTIONS):
· For financial management:
Participation in the initial processing and verification of the project's financial and reporting documentation (checks, receipts, certificates of work performed/services provided);
Entering, systematizing and verifying current data in the automated accounting system BAS under the supervision of the chief accountant;
Assistance in forming and verifying the completeness of payment packages for contractors and preparing materials for the organization's grant reporting.
· For information management (communications):
Developing content plans, writing, editing and adapting text materials for the organization's official website and social networks (Facebook, Instagram);
Visual content creation: shooting and basic editing of short videos (Reels/TikTok), layout of static posts and carousels in the graphic editor Canva, adhering to corporate style elements;
Assisting the team in providing information support and coverage of public events, trainings, and meetings of the organization.
· For monitoring and evaluation (M&E):
Technical creation, configuration and administration of data collection tools (questionnaires, questionnaires) based on the Google Forms platform;
Direct participation in conducting field research: conducting interviews, surveys, and collecting feedback from beneficiaries and recipients of assistance from the organization;
Primary processing, structuring, analysis of the received data and their visualization (creation of simple diagrams, graphs) for internal monitoring reports.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
Evaluation of resumes (CV) and answers in the registration form.
The candidate's motivation matches the goals of the internship program.
Short interview with the curators of the directions.
