The Voznesensk Community Foundation invites all caring, young, creative and imaginative residents of our city to take part in a competition whose goal is to add bright colors, warmth and summer mood to the gray city walls and buildings.
There is nothing more depressing than the boring and monotonous walls of a gray city. It is they who inspire everyday gloomy thoughts in the minds and consciousness of citizens. Looking at the boring monotony of the city, sometimes it is noticeably missing some zest that not only pleases the eye, but also inspires new achievements and gives the joy of life. Our competition is designed to add bright colors to the lives of ascetic people, change their city (district, street, house...), give others a positive mood and unite caring people around a bright idea.

Who can participate in the competition?
Young people aged 14-35 are united in initiative groups or youth organizations.
Conditions of participation in the competition:
-Objects that will be painted according to the results of the competition must belong to social and public infrastructure, such objects can be: entrance doors to entrances, playgrounds, benches for rest, walls of buildings, fences, garages, balconies, sheds, transformer substations (with the consent of the owners), flower beds, fences .....
-Non-standard, bright and creative ideas for painting objects are welcome; preference will be given to ideas that contain a social impact and can become elements of street art in our city.
-Projects must be implemented by teams of at least 3 people, it is desirable to involve representatives of various social groups in the development of the project and the implementation of the idea: pensioners, people with disabilities, children, the unemployed .....
-The maximum cost of one project is 3000 UAH.
To participate in the competition, you must submit an application using the following form:
1. Name of the object, its address and a description of the circumstances that led to its selection (3-4 sentences). Add 2-3 photos of the current condition of the object and written consent of the owner if necessary.
2. Description of the idea for the creative design of the object (2-3 sentences), add a sketch if available.
3. Team description – who will work on bringing the idea to life.

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED UNTIL OCTOBER 1, to the email address voz-cf@ukr.net or 3 Pushkinska St., office 35. Received competition applications are not reviewed and are not returned regardless of the results of the review. The winners of the competition are determined by an independent public competition commission.
The competition committee consisting of Vladislav Neveselyi, Viktoriya Baltser, Iryna Lopaeva, Roman Bachynskyi, Yana Sinyavska, Larisa Lugovska, and Larisa Frank will determine the winners of the competition and present the awards on October 5, 2015.

The organization of the competition "Your Initiative 2015" is taking place within the framework of the project "Grant competitions as mechanisms for involving the public in solving urgent local problems" by the IBO "Voznesensk Community Foundation", which is implemented based on the results of the competition of projects "School of Community Foundations" with the support of ISAR "Unity" and financed by the C.S.
